Fees

Essentially, the entire income for this practice is derived from patient fees and third-party (insurance) payments. Accordingly, all patients are expected to pay for the services that have been provided for them. Furthermore, third-party payers insist that patient co-pays be collected, as a form of utilization review on the part of the patient. In other words, patients are unlikely to pay for continued treatment that is unnecessary or not useful to them, and third-party payers rely upon this screening by patients to similarly avoid paying for unnecessary treatments. Because of this, it is not ethical for us to waive your co-pay or other fees the patient is responsible for. If you ever have a question or concern about your bill, or about insurance payments, please contact Martha. We expect that, working together, we can resolve any billing/insurance issues that may arise.
