Drugs used in therapy

Below is a list of psychiatric medications commonly used in my practice. It is not all-inclusive, so it is possible your medication may not be listed here. Links go to information pages for that medication on websites like WebMD and the American Psychiatric Association. You are always free to ask questions or discuss any side effects or other aspects of your medications, but the answers to many of your questions may be found within these pages.

Medications typically have both brand or trade names and generic names. For example, Aspirin (developed and trademarked by the Bayer Company) has the generic name acetylsalicylic acid. You may know your medication by either name. To aid you in finding your medication in this list, each is listed at least twice, by both the brand and the generic name. Trade names are capitalized; generic names are in lowercase.
